The variety is a tuberous perennial. The inflorescence color is bicolored, characterized by a combination of dark purple (RHS 79A) and black (N186B).

The inflorescence diameter is 5.5 to 6 cm, and height is 7.5 to 8 cm. The plant is used for ornamental garden and container cultivation, as well as in floral arrangements.
