The variety Picante belongs to the group of hybrid Zantedeschia, also known as calla lilies. The plant forms a bush of arrow-shaped leaves. The main morphological characteristic is the orange color of the spathe.

The plant is thermophilic, does not tolerate sub-zero temperatures, and requires protection from frost. The variety is intended for decorative purposes, is suitable for use as a cut flower crop, as well as for cultivation in containers and gardens under suitable climatic conditions.
