Variety description

The line has a flint endosperm type and was developed based on local Galician varieties. It is not a variety for mass agricultural production and is intended exclusively for scientific work.

During research, hybrids involving EC22 demonstrated a tight husk cover and resistance to the accumulation of Fusarium mycotoxins. The use of this line in breeding is aimed at improving the grain quality of white maize varieties intended for the production of food flour.
