Hybrid P0216 is a simple single-cross hybrid with FAO 460–480. The plants are distinguished by a tall stalk and high ear placement. The grain is dent-shaped.
The variety possesses resistance to lodging and tolerance to major corn diseases, including Helminthosporium leaf blight, common and head smut, as well as stalk and ear rot. Due to its inclusion in the Optimum® AQUAmax® line, it has high adaptability to arid conditions.
The hybrid is intended for grain production and alcohol production. It is suitable for monoculture; sowing at optimal times is recommended, however, it is not recommended for late harvesting and No-Till technology.
