The hybrid is characterized by an erectoid leaf arrangement and vigorous leaf-stem mass development. The cob contains 18–20, sometimes up to 22, rows of kernels. The FAO rating is between 310 and 330; the grain is distinguished by good moisture release during ripening.
The plant possesses a sturdy stalk and is resistant to lodging, root and stalk rots, as well as common smut and helminthosporium leaf blight. The hybrid demonstrates high drought tolerance and responsiveness to irrigation when intensive cultivation methods are followed.
