The hybrid DMS Khammer belongs to the mid-maturing group with FAO 360. The plant reaches a height of 214.7–235 cm, the ear is attached at a level of 80.3–83.2 cm. The grain is of dent type, and there are 14–18 rows of grains per ear.
The plant possesses high resistance to common smut and head smut, as well as stalk rot (9 points), high drought tolerance (8 points), and lodging resistance. The yield potential varies from 10.2 to 16.9 t/ha. Distinctive features are a high rate of moisture loss by the grain and vigorous early growth.
