The hybrid Kneja 651 belongs to the late-maturing group (FAO 600+). During comparative trials, it demonstrates above-average yield indicators, while noting higher grain moisture at the time of harvest compared to a number of other tested hybrids.
The breeding of the hybrid is aimed at increasing stress tolerance and protection against economically significant diseases and pests. The variety is included in the official variety list of Bulgaria and is used in commercial cultivation, including for silage production.
