The variety has cylindrical-conical ears 13-23 cm long with 13-22 rows of kernels. The kernels are of the flint type, have a distinct "beaked" shape and an intense red, sometimes orange, color. The ear husks can be white or red in color.
The plant is a low-yielding mid-late variety. Grain yield averages 25 c/ha. The variety is adapted to traditional farming methods, but is inferior to modern hybrids in terms of yield and lodging resistance.
