The hybrid belongs to the Stay Green type, which ensures long-term retention of green coloration of leaves and the stem. The dent-type grain contains 72–75% starch and 8.8–9.2% protein, and possesses a high rate of moisture loss during ripening. The ear forms from 14 to 18 rows of kernels.
The plant possesses high resistance to common smut, helminthosporium leaf blight, fusarium, as well as root and stem rots. The hybrid tolerates cold conditions well at early development stages and is suitable for cultivation under monoculture conditions.
The recommended soil temperature range for early sowing is +6...+8 °C. Planting density varies depending on moisture availability: from 40–60 thousand plants/ha under insufficient moisture to 60–85 thousand plants/ha under sufficient moisture.
