Maize tolerance refers to the ability of a genotype to maintain productivity under stress factors such as drought, salinity, temperature fluctuations, and high plant density.

The use of tolerant hybrids allows agronomists to minimize grain losses and ensure yield stability in high-risk agro-climatic zones.
