Under favorable conditions and with sufficient moisture, the crop allows for 3–5 cuts per season. Typical indicators for regionalized varieties reach 454–472 c/ha for green mass, 113–118 c/ha for hay, and approximately 9 c/ha for seeds.

The high yield of the crop depends directly on the intensity of regrowth and moisture availability. Since ryegrass is a moisture-loving plant, productivity levels drop sharply in the event of a water deficit. Optimal realization of yield potential requires strict adherence to mowing schedules, as delaying harvest leads to the coarsening of the biomass, which reduces its nutritional value.
