The variety is diploid and belongs to the late-maturing group. The plant possesses high growth energy and productivity, demonstrating good growth in late autumn and active regrowth in spring. The variety exhibits shade tolerance and tolerates waterlogged soils, while showing the highest yield on well-drained sites with high water-holding capacity. It also possesses cold hardiness and resistance to rust.

Forage obtained from this variety is characterized by high nutritional value and palatability for farm animals. The crude protein content is approximately 15–22%, and total digestible nutrients vary from 60 to 70%.

The variety is intended for livestock grazing, hay and silage harvesting, as well as for overseeding into pastures to obtain winter and spring forage. Although breeding work is underway on using individual lines for turf cover, the main commercial direction of the variety is forage production.
