The variety is a compact, rounded, densely branched shrub approximately 0.9–1 meter tall and up to 1.5 meters wide. Leaves are oval, pointed, slightly serrated, with an olive-green center and a creamy-white margin. Young shoots have a bright red or reddish-brown color.
Flowers are small, funnel-shaped, white with a slight fragrance and a pinkish tint to the sepals. Flowering is prolonged, from mid-summer to September. The plant is drought-tolerant, resistant to diseases and deer browsing, and recommended for USDA zones 6–9.
The variety is used in landscape design for creating hedges, borders, mass plantings, and container gardening. It is a honey plant that attracts pollinators.
