The shrub has a dense rounded shape with arching branches, reaching 0.9–1.5 m in height and width. The glossy oval leaves have a dark green center with a creamy-yellow or golden margin, which acquires additional orange and red shades in autumn and winter.
The plant blooms with tubular white-pink fragrant flowers from early summer to autumn. The variety is drought tolerant and has disease resistance; it may suffer frost damage at low temperatures with subsequent recovery. The plant is prone to reversion—a return to green leaf coloration.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
