Variety description

The variety forms a dense rounded shrub 0.5 to 1.5 meters tall. Foliage is light green, acquiring a bronze tint when the weather cools.

Flowering lasts from July to October. The flowers are bell-shaped, white with a pastel pink tint, and have a light fragrance. After the corolla falls off, decorative rusty-copper sepals remain on the plant.

The plant is frost-hardy down to -15°C. It prefers sunny areas protected from cold winds. It is used in landscape design for creating mass plantings, low hedges, rock gardens, or for container cultivation.
