Variety description

The variety is a vigorous vine intended for commercial production. Flowering begins in mid-May, fruit ripening occurs in mid-to-late October, which is approximately 10 days earlier than the Hayward variety. The plant requires fewer chilling hours for the dormancy period and needs supplemental pollination for high-quality fruit set.

Fruits weighing 70–100 g have shiny brown skin without pubescence and juicy bright yellow flesh with a high content of sugar and vitamin C. The produce is suitable for storage for 120–150 days. The variety shows low to medium susceptibility to bacterial canker of kiwifruit, but is sensitive to gray mold during storage.
