The variety is a vine that requires supports for cultivation. The fruits are characterized by high taste qualities and an increased content of soluble solids. A feature of the variety is the presence of a pronounced red tint in the flesh, most often manifesting as a red core.

The plant is a heat-loving crop and is not adapted to the harsh climate of northern latitudes. The variety is of great industrial importance and is actively studied for resistance to diseases, in particular, to soft fruit rot caused by the pathogen Diaporthe eres.
