Variety description

The variety is a natural bud mutation of the Hayward variety. The plant is a vigorous vine requiring training on a trellis. Seedlings can be grown on their own roots or grafted onto the Bounty 71 rootstock.

The fruits are similar in shape and size to the Hayward variety: they have a cylindrical shape, brown skin with stiff hairs, and green flesh. The variety is characterized as very early; the fruits ripen 40–50 days earlier than Hayward and can be marketed in October.
