The variety K1 89 is a female plant of the species Actinidia chinensis var. deliciosa. The fruits have a broad cylindrical shape, and their average weight is about 136 grams. Upon reaching maturity on young plants, the fruits reach a length of 67 mm and a diameter of 54.8 to 58.1 mm.

The fruit skin is characterized by a brownish-red hue, the intensity of which depends on exposure to sunlight, and is covered with short pubescence. The cross-section of the fruit has a round or elliptical shape. The variety is intended for cultivation as a fruit crop for commercial production.
