The variety is a compact ampelous subshrub. Its shoots have a drooping habit, which makes the plant suitable for cultivation in hanging baskets.

The tubular flowers reach 5–5.5 cm in length and have a diameter of 2–2.5 cm. The flower color is bright red or red-purple, with buds characterized by a dark brown or dark red glossy shade.

The plant leaves are shiny, oval or ovoid in shape, approximately 4–5 cm in size. Their surface can vary from smooth to hairy, and the color ranges from medium to dark green.
