The plant has trailing-type shoots. The leaves are oval or ovate in shape, dark green with a matte surface, reaching 5–7.5 cm in length. The variety is characterized as a large plant with curling leaves.

The flowers are red or dark red in color. The flower diameter is 2.5–3 cm with a height of 5.5–6 cm. The plant prefers good lighting; cultivation in partial shade is permissible provided that soil moisture is maintained.
