The variety is classified as winter and is traditionally cultivated in small farms, having no wide industrial significance. The plant forms nests of 3–20 bulbs and propagates exclusively by vegetative means.
The bulb formation period is 60–75 days, with maturation occurring in July to early August. Planting in open field is carried out in October or November. Bulb yield is estimated at 20–30 tons per hectare.
