The plant has upright dark green foliage and a thick neck. The bulbs are large in size, spherical in shape, and covered with many intense copper-brown scales.

The hybrid was developed as part of a breeding program for Valciana-type onions and is intended for professional commercial cultivation for export. The high density of the scales provides the produce with excellent keeping quality during long-term storage.
