The variety forms round, slightly pear-shaped bulbs. The outer scales are thin and shiny, straw-yellow in color, while the flesh inside the bulb is white.
Sowing dates depend on the region and can vary from the winter period (December–February) for summer harvest to spring sowing, carried out from late February to May.
