The hybrid Rio Bravo F1 belongs to the early-maturing short-day group. The bulbs have a Grano-type shape and are characterized by uniformity in size and a golden color of the dry scales. The taste of the bulbs is rated as moderately pungent.

The plant possesses a strong root system, good resistance to bolting, and high resistance to leaf tip burn during the ripening period. The hybrid is distinguished by high marketability and adaptability to various growing conditions. The storage period for the bulbs is from 2 to 4 months.
