The bulbs have a shape close to flattened-round ("top shape") and reach a weight of 200 g. The outer scales are colored in a rich dark red, the flesh is white with red veins. The variety has a spicy-sweet taste with characteristic pungency.
The plant belongs to the long-day type. The variety is a winter onion, suitable for fresh consumption and culinary processing. Cultivated mainly in temperate climate conditions.
