The variety Primula Rossa (or hybrid Primula Rossa F1) is mid-early or early-maturing. The ripening period for summer cultivation is from 100 days, and for winter sowing — from 260 to 275 days.
The bulbs have a round shape, a deep red color, and a dense structure with distinct red rings. The average weight is 170–250 g with a diameter of 75–85 mm; individual specimens may exceed 300 g.
The hybrid is characterized by cold hardiness and drought tolerance, and demonstrates good winter survival. The variety is intended for short-term or medium-term storage for up to 2-3 months.
