The hybrid forms round-shaped bulbs, the taste of which is characterized as semi-sharp.

Under this trade name, there is also an early-maturing leek (Allium ampeloprasum), distinguished by erect dark blue-green foliage, the formation of a long white stem, and resistance to rust.
