The Teton F1 hybrid is a salad-type single-centered onion recommended for cultivation at latitudes 40–50° with a maturity period of 115–117 days. There is also a Teton 112 F1 version, which is classified as a mid-season hybrid with a maturity period of 108–110 days.
The bulbs have a rounded shape, dense structure, and a weight of 90 to 200 g depending on the hybrid version. The dry scales are colored dark brown or golden-bronze. The tight adhesion of the scales ensures the crop is suitable for transport and processing.
The plant is intended for cultivation in an annual crop from seeds. The harvest is suitable for fresh consumption, processing, and long-term storage.
