The bulb has a slightly elongated, conical shape, copper-brown dry scales, and white flesh. The size varies from 10 to over 40 mm. The plant is characterized by an average number of leaves on the pseudostem, a semi-erect leaf orientation, and a medium-green leaf blade color with a medium degree of waxy bloom.
The variety matures at the end of June, when leaf lodging occurs. The yield of marketable bulbs is about 30 tons per hectare, and onion sets are 15–20 tons per hectare. The crop is characterized by a reduced requirement for water and fertilizers. Sowing in the region of origin is carried out from mid-January to the end of March; after harvesting, the onions are dried in the field.
