Plants reach a height of 35–60 cm. The leaves are green with an anthocyanin tint. The blanched part ('shank') is characterized by a length of 20–25 cm and a diameter of 2–3.5 cm. The bulb is weakly expressed and small in size.

The variety is for universal use, suitable for fresh consumption, culinary purposes, and freezing. The taste is mild, slightly pungent. Agricultural practices include a seedling cultivation method and mandatory hilling to form a high-quality blanched part.
