The variety forms a high-quality cylindrical false stem ("shank"). The length of the blanched part is usually 15–20 cm, sometimes reaching 25–30 cm, with a diameter of 3–4 cm. The produce has a delicate mild flavor and is suitable for fresh consumption, salads, and culinary processing.
The plant belongs to the mid-early maturity group, but due to high winter hardiness, it is classified as a winter leek. In regions with mild climates, the variety is capable of overwintering in the open field, which allows for harvesting during the winter and early spring periods.
