The variety is intended for the formation of permanent meadow swards, including on moist and temporarily flooded areas, and for inclusion in forage mixtures. The plant is a perennial winter grass with early spring regrowth.

The variety is characterized as high-yielding and serves as a base standard in comparative trials of Alopecurus pratensis. The produce is valued for maintaining good forage quality even during the flowering stage.

Morphologically, the variety is distinguished by hollow soft stems prone to lodging, the presence of short shoots, and inflorescences in the form of cylindrical panicles.
