Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety was created using gamma radiation. Its key feature is selection for seed retention, which significantly simplifies their mechanized harvesting.

The plant belongs to diploid (2x) forms. The variety has high winter hardiness, prefers fertile moist soils, and tolerates flooding well. It is used as an early-maturing forage grass that regrows in early spring.
