Variety description

The variety was created by the individual selection method from an Amaranthus hypochondriacus (K-1267) specimen. The plant reaches a height of 125 to 170 cm. The stem and leaves have a green color with orange or reddish veins. The panicle inflorescence is compact, red or orange in color, and up to 40 cm long. The seeds are white.

The growing season is 105–125 days. Resistance to lodging and shattering is rated as high. The protein content in the seeds is about 18.6%. Seed yield varies from 15 to 30 c/ha, and biomass yield reaches 1500 c/ha. The seeds are used in the food industry, and the green mass is used as animal feed.
