The Anastasia variety is an intergeneric hybrid obtained by crossing representatives of the genera Nerine and Amaryllis. The plant is autumn-flowering, with the flowering period occurring from September to October. The height of the flower stalks is 60–90 cm.
The flowers are characterized by a bright fuchsia-pink color and curved petals, and possess a light fragrance. The plant is suitable for cultivation in the open field and in containers, and is in demand as a cut flower crop due to the durability of the inflorescences.
The variety is hardy, possesses resistance to verticillium wilt, however, winter hardiness is limited to temperatures down to -10°C. It prefers sunny areas with well-drained soils, requiring dry conditions during the summer dormancy period.
