The variety was created using genetic engineering methods using pineapple and tangerine genes. In the development process, the expression of the tangerine phytoene synthase gene was increased and the activity of enzymes responsible for converting lycopene into other carotenoids was suppressed. Ethylene production was also suppressed to control flowering processes.

The main distinguishing feature is the pink color of the flesh, due to the increased lycopene content. The variety is positioned as sweeter, and the modifications contribute to more uniform plant growth, which facilitates harvesting.
