The variety is characterized by intense plant mass growth, comparable to the "MD-2" variety. To obtain export-quality fruit, the variety requires a lower "D" leaf mass — about 70 g. Side shoots ("suckers") develop faster than other types of planting material.

Red skin coloration is provided by anthocyanins and depends on growing conditions: color intensity increases when cultivated at altitudes of about 350 m and at temperatures below 25°C after flower induction. When exposed to low temperatures, the variety is prone to flesh browning.
