The Galileo F1 variety is a breeding achievement in the stalk celery category. It was developed to ensure consistently high product quality required for commercial cultivation of the crop.

During the development of the hybrid, breeders paid special attention to such economically valuable traits as bolting resistance, overall yield, disease resistance, and the ability of plants to remain in the field for extended periods.
