The variety is mid-season; the period from transplanting to harvest is 80–90 days. The plant is compact, and the petioles have a golden-yellow or golden-green color. They are distinguished by juiciness, a crunchy structure, and a mild, sweetish taste.
The variety type is self-blanching, which allows the petioles to lighten without hilling. The variety is susceptible to Fusarium oxysporum race 1 and is prone to diseases typical of the crop. Regular irrigation is a necessary condition to prevent the development of fibrousness.
Used for fresh consumption, addition to salads, soups, and stews. Optimal quality and yield indicators are achieved when harvested on the 122nd day after transplanting.
