The variety forms large, round root vegetables with tender flesh. Depending on the descriptions, the variety is characterized as early, while its relatively slow growth, typical of heirloom varieties, is noted.

The root vegetables are suitable for use raw in salads and sauces, as well as for thermal processing in soups and purées. The variety maintains its quality well during winter storage. In professional crop production, it differs from modern F1 hybrids in its lower uniformity of produce.
