The plant reaches a height of about 65 cm and is distinguished by wider and thicker petioles compared to the base variety Plein blanc doré. The leaves are colored yellow-green, and the rosette itself is formed dense and compact.

The variety is intended for obtaining succulent produce suitable for fresh and cooked consumption. To achieve the characteristic white color of the stalks and improve flavor qualities, the crop requires additional hilling with soil during the growing process.

Agronomic literature notes the suitability of the variety for the spring growing cycle. Historically, it was positioned as an improved selection aimed at correcting the deficiencies of the base variety, including susceptibility to Septoria.
