Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is the result of a joint breeding program using tissue culture methods. The female parent is a pure homozygous line obtained by doubling the chromosomes of a haploid plant, and the male parent is a "super-male" obtained through in vitro anther culture.

The hybrid is of the all-male type, which ensures high productivity due to the lack of energy expenditure on seed formation and prevents self-seeding. The use of homozygous parents allows for uniform production. The variety is intended for professional production and is approved for cultivation within the Asperges du Blayais PGI specification.
