The variety is an F1 male hybrid, which is a key characteristic for ensuring high crop productivity. It was developed in Italy as part of research programs aimed at the development of vegetable growing.
The plant is characterized by resistance to asparagus rust (Puccinia asparagi). In the past, the variety was used in the industrial production of regional products; however, in a number of documentary lists, it was excluded from recommendations due to the cessation of seed sales.
