The variety is a three-way cross asparagus hybrid developed within an Italian breeding program. The plant forms green spears and is intended for the production of marketable produce.

During trials, the variety demonstrated disease resistance levels, receiving 2 points on the rust infection scale and 2 points for resistance to the fungal disease Stemphylium vesicarium.
