The variety is a compact plant classified as Astilbe japonica or an Astilbe × arendsii hybrid. The foliage of the plant is dark green, glossy and lace-like, sometimes with a purple hue; stems are often colored purple-violet. The plant forms dense clumps.

Dense fluffy inflorescences of rhomboid or full shape have a color ranging from light pink to coral-pink and red-violet with a silvery sheen. The flowering period occurs in July–August.

The variety possesses high winter hardiness (USDA zones 3–9) and resistance to diseases and pests. It is suitable for cultivation in containers, border design, group and single plantings, and is also suitable for cutting.
