The variety is a compact, upright plant with a height of 20 to 50 cm. The leaves are bipinnate, incised, and dark green with a characteristic sheen and an often-present bronze tint.

The paniculate inflorescences have a dark pink color at the beginning of flowering, which lightens to soft pink or light salmon as they open. The flowers may have a faint fragrance.

The plant is of mid-season maturity, with its main flowering period occurring from July to August. The variety possesses winter hardiness in USDA zones 3–8 and is noted for being low-maintenance. It is used in landscape design and is suitable for mixed borders, container cultivation, and cut flowers.
