Variety description

The variety forms compact clumps 0.3 to 0.6 m in height and width. Stems are erect, branched, and wiry. Leaves are palmately divided, deeply lobed, and green in color.

Small flowers of a red-purple shade are gathered in dense umbellate inflorescences surrounded by burgundy-colored bracts. The variety is characterized as fully winter hardy and adapted to different soil types.

The plant is used in ornamental gardening for landscaping borders and gardens. Due to the aesthetic qualities of the inflorescences, the variety is used by florists for creating bouquets and dried arrangements.
