Variety description

The plant has palmate, deeply dissected, bright green leaves forming a basal rosette. Small flowers are gathered in dense umbellate inflorescences surrounded by striking dark red or ruby-colored bracts with darker tips.
The variety forms strong upright stems. Flowering occurs in summer, with possible repeat flushes throughout the season. The plant thrives in both sun and partial shade, preferring moist, drained soils. Used in landscape design and for cut flowers.
