Variety description

The plant forms a compact upright bush 30–40 cm wide. Inflorescences are umbellate, about 3.5–4 cm in diameter, with characteristic purple involucres. The leaves are gathered in a basal rosette.

The flowering period lasts from June to July; a repeat wave is possible in September if withered inflorescences are removed. The variety is winter-hardy and resistant to diseases, pests, and lodging. It prefers partial shade and moderately moist fertile soils; it tolerates drought poorly.
